       Answers To Frequently Asked Questions:

 *   Patriot Dog Boxes are Super insulated.  The walls, top, bottom and the  divider are made from high grade aluminum (used by NASCAR).  Each section consists of three pieces...the inside aluminum and outside aluminum with 3/4" Styrofoam in the middle.  

 *   The floor of the storage compartment is the only part of the dog box that is a single piece of aluminum (not insulated).  This permits the storage compartment to be used to "air condition" the dog compartment by adding ice. Nice for keeping refreshments, too!

 *   Patriot Dog Boxes contain absolutely no wood to rot or degrade over time.  Any component that isn't aluminum is either galvanized (handles) or powder coated (doors).  The hinge used for the storage lid is aluminum.

 *  The storage compartment lid on a Patriot Dog Box incorporates a key lock (box comes with two keys).  The dog compartment latches each have holes (like a boat trailer latch) where a lock or snap of your choice can be inserted to make the dog compartments secure.

 *   The doors can be installed either to fasten in the middle of the box or fasten on the outside edges of the box (Fastening in the middle of the box is standard) Customers who have vehicles that set up high and want to place the box next to the cab of the vehicle usually want the doors to fasten on the outside edges so they're easily accessible without crawling into the bed of the vehicle.

  *  Pull handles in the front, lower section of the box are optional.  There's no extra charge for this, although, in most instances the handle in the front isn't needed.  Two handles (one on each side of the box) are standard.

  * Patriot Dog Boxes weigh approximately 75 pounds, making them easy to handle while still being very strong and heavy enough to be steady and sit securely in the back of the vehicle, even without the dogs being inside.
